DR. JOACHIM WOLF
Physicist

Drawing on over twenty years of management experience in international positions with Linde Group in Munich and Wiesbaden, the expert with a PhD in Physics has been running his own consulting firm flow-advice with offices in Munich and Wiesbaden since the beginning of 2009. Following his graduation in Stuttgart and doctoral studies as a scholar of the Max Planck Society, he coordinated a cryogenic research group at the Max Planck Institute for Metals Research in Stuttgart.

In mid-1987, Joachim Wolf moved on to Linde Engineering in Munich, where he worked as a project manager responsible for the space-qualified helium system for the satellite ISO (Infrared Space Observatory) of the European Space Agency (ESA). In 1990, he became Head of the Space Cryogenics department at Linde Engineering, and in 2000 Head of Alternative Fuels, Helium and Natural Gas Systems at Linde Gas.

In 2002 and 2003, Joachim Wolf was one of the executives responsible for Strategic Corporate Development of the Linde Group in Wiesbaden. As Linde’s Executive Director of Hydrogen Solutions, a position he held from 2003 to 2008, he took the company’s activities in this field to new standard unparalleled worldwide. As of 2008, he was responsible for Innovation Strategy at Linde Group.

Appointed by the European Commission, Joachim Wolf was directly involved in the creation of the Hydrogen & Fuel Cell Technology Platform and contributed to the implementation of the program during the entire effective period as a member of the Advisory Council. He is a co-founder of the European Hydrogen Association, an active member of the German Hydrogen Association and served on the Board of Directors of the National Hydrogen Association in North America. As an initiator and a source of ideas, Joachim Wolf has been a member of the Council of the National Innovation Program (NIP) of the Federal Republic of Germany from the very beginning.

Joachim Wolf is Chairman of the H2BZ Initiative Hessen e.V. and Vice-Chairman of the German Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Association (DWV).

He advocates the implementation of a sustainable and industry-oriented energy infrastructure.

ANNA-KRISTIN KIPPELS
MBA (Diplom Kauffrau)

Following her apprenticeship with a bank, Anna-Kristin Kippels studied Economics at Philipps University in Marburg, focusing on Marketing and Logistics. She has excellent credentials and years of experience in network management and in supporting companies with the initiation and management of hydrogen and fuel cell projects.

From 2007 to 2010, Anna-Kristin Kippels worked at HA Hessen Agentur GmbH, where she was responsible for issues concerning hydrogen and fuel cell technology. During this period, she also lead the branch of the H2BZ-Initiative Hessen e.V. She is well connected in the German hydrogen and fuel cell landscape.

Anna-Kristin Kippels joined the flow-advice team in summer of 2010 and is primarily concerned with supporting companies that aim to initiate projects in the fields of hydrogen, fuel cell, renewable energies, and e-mobility. She heads the flow-advice office in Wiesbaden. Her profound knowledge in economic matters contributes significantly to effective project management and execution.

Since 2009, Anna-Kristin Kippels has been on the Board of Directors of H2BZ-Initiative Hessen e.V. and champions with great dedication the market launch of hydrogen and fuel cell technologies as well as a reasonable design of the necessary environment.

Anna-Kristin Kippels is State Commissioner of the German Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Association for the state of Hessen.
